General
I offer individual sex therapy, couples therapy, coaching, consultations, guest lectures, and psychedelic integration therapy both online and in-person. My practice is affirming and trauma informed. Many of my clients are part of LGBTQ+ communities, in non- monogamous or polyamorous relationships, sex workers, or neurodivergent.
Sex therapy is an umbrella term that applies to many different people and many different situations. I specialize in areas like non-monogamy, polyamory, kink, and queer relationships. I support both individuals and couples navigating intimacy challenges, shame around sexuality, infidelity, trauma, communication struggles, attachment needs, and identity exploration. Whether you’re seeking healing, growth, or a deeper connection with yourself or others, sex therapy helps you heal, grow, and cultivate deeper connections within yourself and your relationships.
Yes, I offer couples sex therapy. I offer limited in-person sessions in the LA county area, or online anywhere in California and throughout the country. Couples sex therapy is a great option for people navigating or exploring different types of relationship structures, ruptures in trust, struggles with attachment and security, and challenges with sex and intimacy.
I offer multiple service options that fit within the larger scope of a sex therapy or sex, intimacy and relational coaching. You don’t need to fit inside a box or adhere to any one of my services in order for us to work together. It’s okay if you want to work on one thing in particular, or delve into a range or combination of challenges. We’ll tailor everything to your needs and goals. If you want to learn more about my approach, get in touch for a free consultation call.
I provide in-person and therapy in Los Angeles County. I also offer online therapy throughout California, as well as coaching, consultations, and guest lectures nationwide.
Yes, my practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, kink-aware, and sex- positive. I see and celebrate your whole self with zero judgment.
Sex therapy and sex coaching share some common ground, but they serve different purposes and offer distinct kinds of support. Both can help you understand your past experiences and create meaningful change moving forward — the difference lies in focus, structure, and accessibility.
As a licensed therapist and a sex, intimacy, and relationship coach, I offer both approaches. My therapy services are available to clients located in California, in accordance with state licensure requirements. My coaching services are available nationwide.
Sex therapy is grounded in mental health care guided by a licensed clinician who works within established clinical frameworks to support concerns such as sexual trauma, sexual dysfunction, relationship distress, and the emotional or psychological factors that impact intimacy. Therapy often emphasizes insight, processing, and healing through reflective and relational work.
Sex coaching, on the other hand, is more forward-focused and action-oriented. Coaching is not tied to diagnosis or mental health treatment. Instead, it centers on education, embodiment, skill-building, and goal-setting around sexuality, pleasure, intimacy, and relationships.
Coaching sessions may include learning about anatomy, exploring self-pleasure, building sexual confidence, increasing desire or connection, and developing practical tools for a more satisfying sex life — while also making space for whatever emotional or mental experiences arise along the way.
One of the biggest differences between therapy and coaching is accessibility and scope. Therapy is regulated by state laws and clinical standards, while coaching offers more flexibility in both location and focus. Coaching allows us to work more directly with everyday challenges, personal goals, and tangible outcomes — and is available to clients nationwide.
No matter which path you choose, our work together is always tailored to you — your experiences, your challenges, your goals, and what feels most supportive for where you are right now.
Your first session is about building comfort and connection. I’ll ask questions to learn more about your goals, challenges, and background. We’ll go at your pace and explore what’s most important to you. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels supportive to help you address relationship issues, identity exploration, or trauma.
Psychedelic integration therapy is a supportive process that helps you make sense of and grow from your psychedelic experiences. I’m a licensed psychotherapist with experience in psychedelic processing, so I can help guide you safely through reflections and themes that come up during and after your journey.
Psychedelic-assisted therapy involves the use of psychedelic substances as part of the therapeutic process, typically in a medical or clinical setting with professional supervision. This approach includes preparation, the dosing session, and follow-up care. Psychedelic-assisted therapy is not part of my current offerings.
Psychedelic integration therapy focuses on helping you make sense of a psychedelic experience after it has happened. Integration therapy supports reflection, emotional processing, and meaning-making around past or recent experiences with substances such as psilocybin (mushrooms) or ketamine, without administering or providing substances.
At AOK Therapy LA, psychedelic integration therapy helps you transform your experience — whether expansive, confusing, or challenging — into clarity, healing, and embodied growth. Together, we explore how your experience connects to your inner world, your values, your relationships, and the life you want to live.
Psychedelic integration therapy can help you:
• Find clarity and meaning from your experience
• Reduce anxiety, overwhelm, or lingering fear
• Process difficult or destabilizing emotional material
• Reconnect with yourself and your inner wisdom
• Develop grounding, mindfulness, and emotional regulation skills
• Strengthen relationships through deeper self-understanding
• Align insights with your values, goals, and authentic self
• Turn powerful realizations into intentional, sustainable action
Rather than focusing on the substance itself, integration therapy focuses on you — helping you anchor insight into daily life, restore balance, and support lasting transformation.
In general, I recommend scheduling within 3-4 days of your experience. During this time, your brain is in a heightened state of neuroplasticity, which can make insights easier to process and integrate. However, there’s no strict timeline. You can benefit from psychedelic integration therapy months or years after a journey.
My practice is private pay, except for Aetna and Optum insurance holders, but I can provide superbills for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement. Many people are able to get partial coverage for sex therapy or couples therapy sessions this way, depending on their insurance plan.
